I have a transferable SGW/Olympic Arms M16 that I intend to sell, is it worth the cost and trouble of having it cleaned up and refinished? And who is the go-to guy to do the work assuming it is worth it? Thanks in advance.

If it's out of spec, having it brought into spec will add to is provenance as a shooter, and marginally increase its value. If it's already in-spec, the most refinishing can do is give it a little more curb appeal.

I wouldn't bother having it fixed up if you're going to sell, likely wont get that much more out of it. Most buyers purchase Oly RR knowing they have spec issues and send it out themselves while they are waiting on the form 4 approval. |
