Hey gents

Just noticed that my autosear can slide slightly back and forth in the lower, as though the pin has a lot of clearance in the receiver holes.  I had a close look and it doesn't look like the holes are egging, but since I haven't noticed this before I'm a little concerned.

Anyone else able to move their sear slightly by pushing the pin from one side of the receiver with your finger?

That happened to mine.
I put a slight amount of red Loctite around the pin and let it sit overnight.

It worked, but KNS made an autosear pin that solved it for good.

Your sear spring may be worn...

Spring tension from the spring is what holds the pin in place... Not necessarily the holes in the receiver. So if the spring is starting to wear out, the pin can get a little more loose.

I just looked at several M16A2s and M4s, they're all the same. Just a little bit of movement based on spring tension. No big deal.
