I was cleaning my colt 11.5 upper last night and when I took the handguards off I realized how skinny the barrel was. Does anybody make a heavy 11.5 inch barrel?

Thanks

Besides the cool factor ( and I want the colt barrel for my colt upper) is there really a difference between a model 1, bushmaster and colt barrel for blasting?

I have the Bushmaster 11.5" HBAR for my work gun and hate it. The extra weight turns what should be a light quick handling gun into a pig. My 10.5" SBR (with a light barrel profile) handles much better. With that said, if you are just mag dumping at the range the extra weight and material is probably a little more controllable.
