Is there any particular gas tube that is better for use on m16's?

Not really. The Colt LMG upper has a thicker gas tube which is nice, but I don't think anyone sells thicker gas tubes. Standard gas tubes work just fine though.

I had a Colt gas tube on my Sendra.

Worked and worked.

Never used or know anything about the company.

My M16 has quite a few V7 parts in it. Do not have the gas tube, don't see much point in it. Even with full auto you have to do a crap load of back to back mag dumps before one would fail

I might try one of these new high speed gas tubes.

I for the life of me do not know how I have not blown one up yet.

I have had one tube laying on the barrel like pasta when I got home. Still ran.

next time out I run a few mags though it and rotated the gun 180deg. She kind of straitened out.

I bought that upper from Slug-o so I know is was USED when I got it.

It is my go to beater, range day, scary movie gun.

.25" non seemed ss brake line, turned down for the gas block and upper (gas block can be opened if wanted).

You can do mag dumps until the barrel melts. It was fun the first time, then it was boring

I bought 2 nitrided gas tubes. I put one my colt 11.5 upper. The original one that came off had every color of the rainbow on it where it had got real hot.

Is there a difference between Nitride treated and nitride coated?
