I took my Shrike out yesterday and zero'd it & shot about 100 rounds through it, before rocking on full-auto for 100 rounds to do the breaking period before I use the belt-fed feature. When I had the gas settings right, it ran like a champ with 100% reliability.

However, when I was running it with my SOCOM 7.62, it would only work when I had the gas port on #3, the second most open. I thought it would get enough gas with the can on it to run it on #1 or #2 as Ares recommended on the phone. I'm running it with an H3 buffer as the recommended. Is this normal?
