I know 640 is a XE177 type M16, but only marked M16, not like the 639. Is model 640 as rare as the model 639? How many transferable 640 out there? I have seen a few model 639 priced for $35K, what's the market value of model 640?

I would think with a registered moderator it would be priced virtually the same as a 639 but the roll markings on that lower sure look faint, any idea why?

Seller claimed that is Colt factory blemish which I seriously doubt it. I think it been refinished, some people saw the pic even think because of the location of the funnyness, that might be a reweld

I was told that with our serial number range they are 640 export M16?
