THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT For sale: Registered Lightning Link conversion for all Armalite/Eagle Arms AR-10 Varients. All that is needed is to send me your bolt carrier, lower reciever and registered lightning link. I will make the appropriate modifications, time and test run before sending back. Currently only doing Armalite/Eagle Arms type AR-10s. Working on other variants. All NFA laws apply. $XXX I thought the atf doesnt allow RDIAS & RLL to be installed in AR-10s.. Thats news to me |

go to post 17 in this thread it shows a rll drops right into an armalite lower
http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?32355-Something-not-quite-right-with-this-RLL&highlight=link all you would need to do is mod the bolt just like a 9mm bolt and make a taller paddel |

In the RDIAS letter, they said the AR10 was a different class of weapon, so that is why you couldn't use one to convert it to full auto. I'd go with the ATF having the same view on the RLL, but I guess someone could write them a letter. That would double the price of RLL's over night.

We need to stop writing letters before NFA tells us we can use them in SP1s only.

RLL was made to convert the AR15 platform.. The AR10 is a differnt platform. I doubt anyone would question it unless you write a stupid ass letter to the ATF tech brach to see if its ok.

The "SWD AR-15 Automatic Connector" was designed specifically for the AR-15.
The original paperwork on the RLL states "WARNING: These auto connectors are designed to be used in Colt AR-15's ONLY. You must have all COLT AR-15 Internal parts."
Putting it into a AR-10 may get the BATF's panties in a bunch and a possible charge for creating a new unregistered machine gun. Photo of RLL paperwork here: http://www.hk94.com/hk/topic/18916-the-swd-auto-connector-aka-lightning-link/ |
