Trust me you'll like it. I have a 20" H-bar upper I use for Beta Mag dumps too. Were the A5 really shines though is changing back and forth from a 10.5 upper to a 14.5 to a 20" one with out ever having to change buffers.

Reef, which A5 buffer are you using? (I bought all five but haven't played with every one yet.)

From what I recall VLTOR engineered the A5 assembly in response to a request from the USMC to develop a collapsible stock assembly to be used with the M16A2/A4 which would provide the same or greater reliability than the A2 fixed stock assembly. I believe I read the above on VLTOR's web site at some point. HTH's....O3 out!!
