if i had an RDIAS if it didn't have a hole in it i'd find some way to attach it to a key ring and something that i can't loose or misplace when it's out of the gun.

Still have mine, too. And it's all original, including the finish. Here it is, wearing my DOE upper: http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/DOE4.jpg One more reason why I hate you... TRG |

Almost 20 years later, I'll be looking at paying around $20k for a nice one in a few months. I'd say that was a great investment for you! At that time I was buying MGs, I even had an MP5 and a Valmet M78,. i wish I still had the MP5, the Valmet not so much, it was almost impossible to find parts for, sold it to a friend with more patience. I forget the prices, but I made money. I could not afford to buy one at todays prices. Unless I sold my children Very nice Tony! I will probably buy a semiauto Colt 9mm pretty soon. One funny thing I noticed right after shooting my M16 and switching to a semiauto pistol. It takes a noticeable amount of time for my brain to think "pull the trigger again dummy" for the second shot, its as if my brain / trigger finger expects the pistol to do the work. Heh. |

$8,000 late 2003, taxes and "Assorted" Fees brought it to $9,000:

After almost 18 years of messing with fun configs, I think it may be time to return my M16A1 to it's factory configuration, and leave the more modern setups to my new child, the Oly/PAWS RR. There's just something so cool about 'A1's ... And mine just had her 34th birthday on March 8, so maybe it's time to see her again in her birthday suit. |

I only keep the fancier configs around for the rental crowd - my favorite's always been an A1. |

I'm glad I got RDIAS, but I do want to pick up an M16 come 2013 to join the gang since it's the "real deal". Can't decide between an A1 or an A2 though. And no.......I can't get both! |

WTF !?!?! $27,000 for this DIAS and "rare" Magpul rifle????
that guy must be high or something... Sear is say 16g upper is 1800 with everything, lower is ... uhh 1,600 because it's "rare" and the extra parts at best. or am i missing something? so take way the rifle it's self and you'll get a good deal on a RDIAS for around $24,000
has a familiar looking M60 in his other auctions too |

I've seen > $1700 for sale ads for the Magpul lowers without the doll marks. The China doll lowers were never sold - they were only distributed to a few individuals. Some folks will pay STUPID money for those.
If he wants a chance in heck of selling it, he should part the stuff out and sell it separately. |

Someone would pay $10k for that gun? I'm a fanboy of some things myself, but a lower that isn't even the top stuff anymore with a china doll face on it for that much? It's nothing special, and it's just Magpul...a company that doesn't make lowers anymore, maybe for a reason. AX556 lower FTW. |

has a familiar looking M60 in his other auctions too My buddy wanted some high dollar stuff to put up on his gunbroker. So I loaned him some toys. I could care less if they sell. If they do, I'll laugh all the way to the bank. And if you can find a china doll lower for $1600, I'll take ten of them. Even normal magpul lowers sell for $2k+. Just because you won't pay something for an item doesn't mean someone else won't. |

If RDIAS are selling for $18k, and it comes with a one of less then 50 lowers ever made that was never sold to the public, who is to say what the price would be on it. Its worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I don't know what that price might be. Do you? |

Ya I thought that was your 60 on there.
As for the Magpul lower, I didn't know they were that rare or sought after. So even without the RDIAS that's a $4,000+ gun? |

When did an aluminum RDIAS become worth $23,000? Typo I assume? Now that I think of it (even though I'm not obsessed with Magpul), I can see someone paying a lot for one of those China Doll lowers. |
