Step Grandpa died. Now I have a bunch of random gun parts and accessories. What am I looking at here? I THINK it's a 1919 Bolt, but not sure. Not sure what if anything it's worth. |

It's the bolt on top of the barrel extension.
DO NOT TRY TO TAKE THE SPRING GUIDE ROD WHICH LOOKS LIKE A SCREW OUT OF THE BACK OF THE BOLT It is under tremendous spring pressure and can shoot out like a .22!!!!! |

NOS complete bolts are $300ish - stripped $100ish.

Yes, it's a 1919 or like type (1917/M37) bolt and barrel extension.

You have:
Izzy Bolt (308) Firing pin assembly Sear spring Sear Driving rod Driving rod spring From the bolt you're missing: Extractor assembly Cocking lever Cocking lever pin Barrel Extension Breech block Breech block pin From the Barrel Extension you're missing: Barrel locking spring Realistically, in that condition you're looking at $100 - $125 for everything. They'll need to be sandblasted and parkerized. You're missing the extractor which is the expensive part. They'll fit in a $7 flat rate small box just wrap them up and pack bubble wrap in the ends of the box so the parts dont pierce the box in shipping. Ask me how I know. |

There was a thread about an individual who got one through the eye. Pictures were posted as well. I cringed when I saw you took a picture directly behind it. There isn't a positive lock where it is, it will simply launch out if turned. I would SAFELY (look up how to safely remove) remove the rod/spring for storage and if you go with shipping to someone. |
