Very long Handgaurd needed

I need a hand guard that will accommodate a YHM Phantom .30 QD on the inside that is long enough that I can weld the mount to a 14.5 barrel and still get the back of the can under the hand guard to get the MP5 SD "look". Anything out there that long?

For your needs, how long is your barrel, how far beyond the end of the barrel does the HG need to be to cover your can like you want, what diameter is the can?

Start searching for HGs by the length you need then start checking inside diameter.

I'm not sure what gun you are mounting this on, but if it is an AR, I'd go with MI's SP series. https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=2519 These go out to 18" if that is your need and have a 1.75" ID. If you are welding the can on, why not go with an 11.5" bbl?
