Just had this case made by a custom case builder for a 1928 Thompson. He can build cases for any weapon in any layout you desire. Entire process only took 3 weeks. First class work.

Price was $700
Time it took to build including shipping was 3 weeks.

I like it except for stacking the gun on top of that cleaning rod

I understand your concern. The rod and the other tools each sit in a recessed cavity. They do not contact the weapon, there is a space in between.

That's a beautiful case, and the cost vs. production time seems very reasonable. Does the builder have a website?
