I think the price is pretty darn reasonable.  I doubt they stay for sale long.

I'm rather surprised. I sure figured it would be more.

I got handle one once. The price tag read $1200.

The NIB M16A2 right beside was the same price.

It was a long time ago.

Very nice, I was lucky enough to play with one recently. I was amazed they still even make the ammo for the thing. Shooting it feels kind of like an AK-47. Slow rate of fire and similar size cartridge. Of course if I owned one of these I doubt I'd shoot it often, it's more of a collectors piece than a shooter. I'd rather have an AK-47 as a daily shooter. Easier to get ammo for it and not as rare of a gun. But it would still be very cool to have in the collection of course.

If you're high volume shooting, you can reload for it with 308 and 3006 cases.
