Does anyone know someone that has shortened a Vepr 12? I was looking for a shop that has successfully handled the SBS conversion.

All of my Form 1's have been the AR platform so I have handled the "conversion" myself which is a joke with an AR. Are you still allowed to have someone else do the work when you submit a Form 1?

Yes a smith can do the work after the form 1 clears. That's what I did for my MKE mp5 clone, filed the form 1, got approved, contacted S&H, sent them the gun with a copy of the approved form 1, they chopped, threaded and 3 lugged the barrel, did the engraving and sent it back.

Sorry I don't have experience with AK shotguns to recommend anyone.
