Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Stemple 76/45 Extractor Hardness

Howdy all.

I am trying to get some spare Stemple extractors machined....the question was posed, what level of hardness is the extractor.
Does anyone know?

This is for a Jim Burgess SW76 / Stemple in 9MM,

A Sten extractor is hardened to RC 48-52 ........same hardness should work in a Stemple.....
