Sick setup man! Any suggestions on convincing the wife the benefit of investing in machine guns vs actual profit based investments? I feel like she is going to come to the argument with some really valid points. I just want to be ready. Thanks! Not sure I can give you much more advice than has already been posted. But in terms of which MG will give you the most bang for your buck I'm pretty confident in saying the M11/9 is the way to go. I had a somewhat flexible budget up to and including RR Uzi's and after trying a bunch of various MG's the M11/9 was just a no-brainer. The price compared to other SMG's, selection of transferables to choose from, parts availablility, after market uppers and conversions, ability to "modernize" it, community support, ease in suppressing, design...it all really culminates in the M11/9. It's my only SMG (for now), and I'm really satisfied with it. |

The proto's buffer and spring are proprietary -- there's no way a standard carbine buffer and spring could fit, much less work, in a tube that short. |

I'm not in the market yet, but looking toward the future toward a MM beltfed... Not at all. I wanted it to be the "real deal." I figure there's a reason it wasn't originally made with a 12" barrel. It's nice and beefy and I like that. Belt fed are supposed to have long barrels anyways, and it's easy enough to shoulder fire as it is really. The M60E6 is a little easier, but the MG34 is a little harder. |

The M60E6 is a little easier, but the MG34 is a little harder. See that's what I've thought too...I like the originality of it also. It seems like something that would really be used on the ground, in the trenches so to speak. That being said, I do like the idea of a SAW-type weapon. The "k" version is probably the closest thing to a saw you can get, outside of spending hundreds of thousands for the 1-3 that actually exist in the registry... |

Here's a video of our new M60E6. Two of my staff started doing a weekly "weapons brief" on the various weapons we have in our inventory. I have an M60E1, E3, E4, this E6 and a D model. I thought the E4 was going to be the last version but this one really is a better model. I like the fact that it holds the linked ammo in the tray and it has the ability for select-fire. I also like the slower rate as compared to our 240's, MG3's and MG-42.

That lever is the old style safety. The new E6 pistol grip attaches a different way than before, and also has a push button safety on it. Both changes are quite nice. Man, you had me all sorts of excited about select fire! haha. I was about call up Desert Ordnance! |
