Maybe my Mk 1 optical comparator is broken, but I'm seeing a 16" barrel. Is the case deflector original? I don't see anything weird about the receiver markings, so maybe it is a 33 receiver.

Edited OP. I knew it was a 93 barrel. In any case, it's not original as claimed.

How can you tell it's a 93 barrel? As far as I know, the 93 and 33 both are full-length rifles, and use the same barrel. The 33 barrel has a grenade ring in front of the front sight housing, while the 93 barrel just has a bare journal for a ring. That rifle appears to have a standard 33 barrel to me, but I'm no H&K Exspurt either...

The early HK43 semi's used a 33 bbl with the FH welded on |
