Is it me or just sites I'm looking at? I'm shopping for a M11 and every site I have searched on has several listed but are almost always SOLD or BACK ORDERED. Is there a reliable C3 dealer that lists current inventory that doesn't have ads like 2 years old?
I even found one site that had an 2004 ad!!!
any input would be appreciated.

I sold two in the last three months. They come up pretty often, just have to know what you are looking for and have cash ready to go, good deals sell in mins.

His prices are a bit higher but what you pay for is peace of mind and his customer service is worth it.

You've never picked up on the fact that the firearms industry in general is stuck in the 90's when it comes to websites and E-commerce?

I check that big list of websites twice a day for over a month until i finally found the right deal. Its a hassle but it will be worth the wait in the end.

Plus I've seen items come from him that should have NEVER been transferred. But he is the best and by paying for his premium you have peace of mind that you are getting a gun that might or might not be completely legal.

This. I purchased my first (and only, thus far) MG from him and it was a excellent experience. I'll look to him again for my MG needs.

I have also heard nothing but positive things about David Spiwak.

Drama? No. But I always point out to people that think he is the holy roller of MG's and has perfect guns and perfect service that they shouldn't be naive and not believe he isn't in it for the money. He should have done the right thing and turned the gun in that clearly wasn't legal, but he didn't. He sold it to an unknowing first time MG buyer, and because of people singing his praises like those posted above the buyer believed the gun was ok "because Ruben wouldn't sell something questionable". Bull shit. He has before, and I wouldn't doubt he will again. As always, buyer beware, know what you are paying for, and don't just blindly believe he is the best.

Really?
I hadn't seen anything but positive reviews about him.
My dealings with him has always been good.

Do I believe he would have taken the gun back if the customer said he wasn't happy with it? Yes. But again, the customer was a first time buyer, and believed if he sold it, it was a solid gun with good history. It was not. It was a registered receiver M16 that had clearly been replaced at some time, it didn't match any other known lowers by the same manufacture, but no telling the buyer that. He said he paid more to go through Ruben because he only sells quality guns and that's why you pay more.

Someone help me out on this:

http://dealernfa.com/shop/colt-m16a2-carbine-ssb-800/

Gun is listed as NIB.

Did Colt really ship M16A2 prior to 5/19/86 with 1913 rail and M4 Handguards?

Made it hot

I don't believe they did, but Ruben must have a collector who got a bunch converted by colt, or built up by colt after the cut off with receivers they still had but hadn't built.

That is a new production 16" 6920 upper and is not correct for an M16A2 lower. I would be very surprised if that rifle left Colt in that configuration. Ruben is charging a huge premium for a parts gun.

But, but, but, it's Ruben and he only sells the best!

I agree. They are parts guns and the unknowing are paying huge premiums for guns they think are factory correct because he is selling them as such.
