I recently bought a Ingram Powder Springs GA. manufactured MAC 10/45 with a understanding that available conversion kits and upgrades are somewhat limited for that gun. I am aware of the Lage max10 to reduce rof and its abilty to use a 9MM conversion kit. I was unaware though that there is another option to the Lage max10. I found this 22LR conversion kit for the 10/45 at http://www.practicalpage.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=66

If I am going to convert I would prefer 22LR over 9MM for cost and availability of ammo.

I am wondering if anyone has experience with this 22LR conversion kit and if so your thoughts please. Also, if there are other 22LR conversion options for a 10/45 I would be interested to know those to.

Check uzitalk.com for all you could ever want to know about the M10/45. There is the fleming conversion to 22lr, but I would avoid it. Too much tinkering to get it to work right. I'd look into getting both, the Lage is fantastic. The Practical Solutions kit works pretty well from my understanding (I have the Lage kit for my M11/9) and Sam at Practical Solutions has great customer service if there is a problem. No 22lr kit is flawless, so don't go into it expecting 100% mag after mag.

AVOID the fleming 22lr kits. i had one a long time ago, and i could never get it to work. sent it back to him, and tried all kinds of ammo, and it sucked....
