THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Hey guys new to this stuff.

Can I get a price check on this pistol? Could I get a stamp and make this full auto?
This is what the add says.
VERY RARE. pre-ban cobray sM-11 A-1 cal. 380 , RPB industries inc. Atlanta Ga. USA  .( this is a open-bolt simi-auto)  built before the 1982-BATF Rul. 82-8 that bans the manufacture of the open-bolt operating system of the M-10 and M-11  built after june-21 1982. the ones built before june-21 1982 are very rare and they are grandfathered in. the gun shows ware from age and use.it comes with 3 clips.  I am not sure what its worth ,but just seen one on Guns America for around $3,000.00

thanks

Not sure on the price, but you cannot get a stamp to convert it into full auto. For what it's worth, you can get a transferable M11 for around $3,500 or so.

Im not sure about the price of the SM-11 but ball park prices of SM-10/45 open bolt pistols are around $1000 to $1200

Just thinking here.
If the open bolt pistol was form 1'd into an sbr, would the standard smg wire stocks fit these pistols?

They sell in the same range as the 9mm and .45 OB guns - about $1100 to $1400ish.

Avoid it. Get a real registered MG.

At least one appeals court has over-ruled BATFE grandfathering on MGs. Doubt it will ever be an issue, but why take a chance.

Nope.....the stock won't close due to the internal "carrier" the sear is mounted in......

I just have to add there is court testimony from the ATF stating that open bolt macs are legal unregistered machine guns and that about 50,000 are out there
