On the first photo, the top 5 digit number is the CAGE code, which stands for Commercial And Gov't Entity. This is who made the item. The second number is the part number. If you did a google search for "cage code A and part number B" it should come up with a NSN or National Stock Number and hopefully a description of the item and its end use. A and B of course are the cage code and part number printed on your bolt.

Someone locate a picture of their MK47 Mod 0 40mm Advanced Lightweight Grenade Launcher bolt. All I can find is that it's short recoil operated. |

What you have is the rare 30mm GAU-8/A bolt.
The bolt can be combined with one of the 30mm GAU barrels you can buy for a few thousand to make a bolt action cannon. |
