Here's how you make this weapon a viable option for military operations.
Configure it to fire from the shoulder like the M82-A2 (similar to the way the AT-4, SMAW is used) put a spring or hydraulic recoil compensating system coupled with a muzzle break and configure it with the computerized scope concept used on the OIWC that can gauge drop compensation for the explosive projectile at range. Now take a second man in a two man team who deploys this weapon system and give him an acoustic locating system that can identify where a target who is engaging a friendly force is located that can blue tooth the information to the OIWC scope. Now the man employing the weapon in the two man team has all he needs to take out targets at long range with explosive projectiles. Make the rounds anti infantry fragmenting so a hit on target also damages other enemy forces enough to give them reason to disenegae. Give this weapon to stinger teams and train them on it so they actually have something to do. |

I for one am inspired, although he really needs to look at his pintle lock and do something about the T&E as well. Ive always wondered if an M3 bipod would hold still under a 20mm. Now we know.
