I have been on a bit of a hunt to find some Hollywood quiet ammo. I grabbed a bunch of heavy 9mm and let my ears decide. Ran it through my Scorpion EVO with my silencerco Octain 45K . in order from loudest to quietest from my ear.

Federal HST 147g
Speer gold dot 147g
Speer Lawman 147g subsonic
American Eagle 147g subsonic

And the winner by a noticeable margin

Fiocchi 158g subsonic.
Great load if you want to impress friends, reasonably priced as well.

despite all the hate, I really love freedom munitions 147. Very affordable, and slightly underloaded to reduce blowback and noise. Strictly for range use, of course.

Have not tried the fiocchi 158 yet.

I think the Fiocchi 158 sounds great, but it's more expensive than Speer Lawman 147. I get 9/10th the end result with the Speer ammo, at 10-15 cents less a round. I'm okay with that.

I tried to find some of their Hush ammo with no luck. From what I have read its very quiet stuff.

Prvi 158gr is also great and feeds better than some of the flat nose stuff.
