I made myself some endcaps for some Omegas that I'm running Direct Thread.
I had them Type 3 hard coat clear anodized and I'm pretty pleased with the color. Here are some pics.

Freaking sweet!
i asked Griffin to make 6.5 endcaps for the Alpha/Maximus/Paladin and was told it wouldn't improve performance. Have you test it yet? Wonder what the improvement is over the 30 cal cap? |

To my "calibrated ear" I think it sounds great. If anything I just like how it looks.
But I feel like it made a diff, also shortened my OAL. |

They are 7075
And that happens to be a Wrench used to assemble Night Vision. It happened to be on the table I took the pics from. It uses a standard wrench to remove and install. |
