I have an odd suggestion. My favorite 22lr pistol for suppressed use is my SIG P226 with a SIG 22lr conversion kit installed.
Feeds flawlessly, low crap from the ejection port, large but light because the kit slide is aluminum. Maybe one of your center fires if you don't own a SIG (SIG offers 22 kits for other SiIG models.) JPK |

Yeah I hate the disassembly. 2). I don't like how the mag bottoms interface with the gun itself--I can ever get my hand out of the way and it blocks dropping the mag. 3). I don't like the controls. I especially hate safeties and this one is the worst. 4). I don't like the color-- it showed up as a kind of electric blue on multiple places on multiple computers but the one I got is dark purple. 5). It feels like a brick. It's just preference I guess but I'd hate to put more money into it and still not like it much. |

JPK I mainly have HK pistols.. A bluline G17 with 3 mags would cost me $430 OTD, plus the conversion kit--probably more than I want to dump into a 22 host. |

I'm kinda in your boat OP. I wouldn't say that I'm underwhelmed with the 22/45 lite though. I think it's a steaming pile of crap and don't care for the you have to shake it this way and then sacrifice a goat to get it to go back together right. It does look like you can make them usable by dropping 100 bucks or so worth of mods in them but personally I'm waiting on a threaded barrel smith and wesson victory. I wish it didn't need a tool to breakdown but it seems like overall a much better design.
Right now some people are getting their hands on the standard version. I have one of the local dealers adding a threaded barrel version to their order from smith and wesson for me. |

Unless they make the barrel shorter, I have no interest in a 5.5" threaded barrel Victory as it won't keep bulk pack ammo subsonic. The M&P 22 Compact has actually been a pretty fun shooter so that's probably worth a look. |

The 22 pistol I have been taking to the range almost every time I go is the M&P22. I have a Browning and a MkII with TacSol goodies on both, but the M&P has been more enjoyable lately. For rifle, how about a 10/22 TD or a PWS Summit T3??

Okay, if you CC'd a full-size auto I was going to suggest (as I often do) a rimfire conversion or copy of your pistol as a suppressor host, for cheap/quiet "practice." I have some very nice dedicated .22 hosts, but I probably shoot my Glock AA conversions suppressed more than all of those combined (because I CC Glocks). Doesn't sound like a practical approach for you, though, since I can't think of a good rimfire analog to the P32. And my first rec for a dedicated .22 host for most people is a Ruger of one flavor of the other... but you already don't care for those. 
The little Walthers are very hit or miss. My son and I have two that run great suppressed and have given us zero trouble, but I have also seen a lot of problematic ones so I consider us lucky. Same for the SIG Mosquito -- I'm personally batting .500 on that one so far. Have you ever looked at/handled the Beretta NEOS? If the odd grip isn't off-putting to you, they strip easier that the Rugers and come in a wide variety of sizes and colors (and even have a factory carbine conversion unit available, if you can find one). And the last couple of generations of S&W .22s are nice, but will require an adapter or threading for use with a can. Good luck!

Shorter barrel to keep bulk pack subsonic? I like Buckmarks, but aren't the Tac Sol threaded barrels like over $200? The linked BM is nice, but everything I have read here states that 4.5" should be the max to keep bulk pack subsonic. They went an inch too far with that one. |

I have the 5.5" Tacsol on my Buckmark and it stays subsonic with most ammo, you could always thread a regular Buckmark barrel to any length you want.

OK, so I have funds to spend at Cabela's. (gift cards, points, etc.) of about $200.
No xfer or shipping saves me another $40. Here is what I am looking at: 1) 10/22 TD charger will be about $200 OTD for me. Can I SBR this somehow later? 2) 10/22 TD with flash suppressor about $200 OTD. (Yes, this is a rifle--SBR later?). 3) 10/22 non TD ITAC about $200 OTD. (Yes, this is a rifle--SBR later?). 4) Buckmark camper stainless about $200 OTD + tac sol barrel is another $190-$200. $50 rebate on the pistol if I can find one in stock, too. |

I have not adco'd yet and unfortunately just sold my 22A to buy the 22/45. :( As far as the Glock route, I may consider that yet. Now there are too many options--but in budget for me means spending about $200 out of pocket at cabela's. The base buckmark at cabela's has me around $150 out of pocket and then I could snag a threaded barrel later...how quiet are buckmarks suppressed? |

Advantage Arms conversion/Glock. Find a used S&W 2213 or one of the variants, add EWK threaded barrel nut. They homely little pistols but a fun suppressor host. |

I went with the basic buck mark from Cabela's. They gave me an additional 5% off for being a vet. So after $50 browning rebate I'm into it for $165.
Now I'm searching for a 4" Tac Sol (or other ) barrel and magazines. Any advice on aftermarket threaded barrels? |
