well i guess i heard from this forum
 . not sure how reliable that is haha. have seen this mentioned on a few threads. just was wondering how valid the claim is.

I've heard this as well. Why do you want to mount it via direct thread rather than the QD?
Best bet is to email them, they're quick at responding. |

This is one post where Todd Magee of Dead Air (mageever) posted about an upcoming direct thread adapter for the Sandman. There were other posts but I can't find them right now. Hopefully they are still planning on making them. Quote from that post: "For the Sandman -S, there are brakes out now and flash hiders, direct thread, linear compensators, and other adapters coming soon." |

Called Dead Air today and their customer support line advised there were no plans for direct thread adapter...Todd?
