The guy charging 100-125 is not getting any of my business. I have been using QRF they charge $50. They are 2 hrs away tho. Found out that GA gun store in Gainesville does $50 as well so will give them a try next.

Unless you use a Powered by dealer in my AO, you're looking at $75 - $100 if you order something they don't normally stock.

I do kinda want one of these.  I only care about the rating at the shooter's ear, where these seem to excel, but it's hard to tell the truth from the fiction with OSS...they seem to be all over the place.  Anyone here have one that can comment?

I handled one at my dealer - it is one heavy sonafabitch - even at Botach's prices, I would have to think twice about hanging that much weight off the end of my rifle.

I'm trying to figure out if the "powered by" dealer is going to try screwing me out of a normally included muzzle device...  I guess I should know shortly.

Not exactly the same, but I did get an OSS suppressor with my MR762SD. The low back pressure is nice and it seems to work well on that gun.
However, I would not recommend it for a gun that you will not be primarily shooting from a bi-pod as it's heavy.
There are so many great .308 silencer options on the market right now, I think anyone would be hard pressed to recommend this option.

I agree have the same setup and it works very nice.   I don’t think the weight is as much as a factor as part of it sets behind the muzzle as far as balance goes but it isn’t a light weight system for sure.

That would be theft. Not sure why you're worried about it, but call the cops if it happens. FFL's, especially SOT's, mind their P's and Q's pretty well. My local guy said he got an earful from the ATF last week during an inspection because the pen ran out of ink while the buyer was filling out the 4473 and switched to a different type of pen. Not even a different color, just a different type that left a different line. The agent grilled him on it for a while and took a deeper look at everything.

The last thing they want is a claim of theft
