I think everyone is overthinking this.  I get the stamps back and scan them.  I then take the original and place it in the safe in a notebook with sheet protectors.  I just print out a copy(front and back) when I need a new one.  The stamp has been cancelled by the serial number being placed on it and being affixed to the paperwork.  Pretty easy.
