August 15th, 2015 -- I purchased and paid for in full, 815.32 for a SureFire SOCOM 556 RC DE and expedited shipping. August 26th, 2015 -- Charged for 815.32. August 29th, 2015 -- Called and was told a Form 3 was filed, no serial number given because 'We're not allowed to.' December 9th, 2015 -- Called and was told a Form 3 was never filed because of their move. Order cancellation requested. Lady was unaware a charge was made. Call ended. She called back confirming a charge. Options given were refund in full or SOCOM 556 RC2 in black at no additional charge. Refund requested. December 30th, 2015 -- Called because I still haven't received a refund. I requested my order be changed to take up on their original offer, for the SOCOM 556-RC2 in black at no additional charge. December 31st, 2015 -- Form 3 filed and serial number provided. January 12th, 2016 -- Realized copy of the Form 3 has incorrect information January 13th, 2016 -- SOT contacts AU and informs them of said errors, provides a corrected Form 3 but doesn't file it. February 11th, 2016 -- Justine Hall from the ATF/NFA Branch give a one time courtesy notice and opportunity for corrections to my SOT about Form 3 having incorrect details, Federal EIN and FFL # on it. February 26th, 2016 -- SOT forwards corrected Form 3 to Justine Hall February 29th, 2016 -- Form 3 approved March 1st, 2016 -- Justine Hall confirms Form 3 was approved In short, after all this time spent, it seems everything is coming together nicely how it should. For 815.32 for a brand new RC2, I can't really complain. I'll keep you guys posted and post a few pictures when it shows up. Form 3 should be in the mail and sent back to AU any day now and then AU will ship. I'm thinking I'll see it in maybe a week or two since ATF is slow on mailing. |

Somehow, I got lucky. http://i.imgur.com/KEuCCljl.jpg Ordered on 6/29/15, had my SOT email that night. I confirmed with AU 2 weeks later they received the F3. Sorry, did you spray paint the can? Is it just me or is the factory FDE cerakote on the RC series a shade lighter than the RC2 series? The RC2 series seems a shade darker in FDE than the original RC suppressors. |

The RC2 series seems a shade darker in FDE than the original RC suppressors. They are probably not much different. First, every batch will have variations, but the SF cans will notoriously lighten up after the first 100 rounds. Usually, they will darken back up to dirt and carbon. |

Is the suppressor the wrong serial? Or did they not provide you with the serial? View Quote The Form 3 that was approved on February 29th had the serial number 123 to dealer ABC. Suppressor with serial number 123 arrived at my dealer ABC with a Form 3 with a serial number 456 for dealer DEF. In short, my dealer, ABC, has DEF's Form 3 for can 456 yet has no approval my can, 123. Somebody else must have my Form 3 while we theirs -- if this makes any sense. In short, if my SOT were to be audited right now, there would be no good explanation for why he has suppressor 123 without an approved Form 3 for it, yet has a Form 3 that isn't his. |

Just called the ATF for a status on my form 3, in short ArmsUnlimited messed up again putting the wrong model on the form. ATF sent a notification a while back and they haven't heard back. (Form 3 sent on Jan.29th) I call ArmsUnlimited and and let's just say they need work in customer service. I paid for this back in July........

I just got told tney don't know when Surefire will send the Ryder I paid for in October.

I contacted them on a few things and finally received a response after about 6 emails and 2+ months. The email that finally came was brief and pretty douchey. I stopped shopping there. They do have some good deals but not enough for me to deal with the shitty CS or the douches that work there.
