Just purchased my first can. YHM Turbo. Pretty stoked right now. I figure it’ll be a birthday present to myself for next summer.

Twenty years after Reed Knight let me fondle one with my grubby mitts at the 98 Knob Creek Shoot one will finally be mine.
Now I kick myself for not buying the "Kit" with the Beretta back then as they were around $1,700, now they are $8,500, so it will be just the XM-9 Suppressor for more $.

Thanks Joshua at Capitol Armory as I got the last one they had in stock. Now I could have gotten one from another none ARF dealer for a little less but I have bought two cans from Capitol Armory in the past and and they were excellent to deal with, and when it came down to it I'd rather support the dealers who support the site.

Thanks

Now the ridiculous wait begins. I remember back in the day when a corp transfer was weeks instead of several months.

Funny you should ask. I stopped by my awesome dealer this morning to see my @HansohnBrothers 9K purchase and grab my forms. We will be hitting the range together next week for the comparison. I'll report back here with some initial findings.

45K is already here (jail too).

Unfortunately, it was returned to SilencerCo without being shot.  There was a whole backstory between me and a former employee that made everything go south which is now water under the bridge.

But the real victim here is the comparison.

Sorry.

Thunderbeast Ultra 7, .30 cal

Because of a little back log, it took almost a month to get an assigned serial number, only took one day for the Form 3 to be approved. That time between ordering and an approved Form 3 was getting rough...not sure how well the wait for an approved Form 4 is gonna go.  Good thing I'm a patient person.

Couldn't pass on those 369 CGS Krakens.  I try not to buy NFA from out of state because local dealers have 100-200 dollar transfer fees for NFA stuff and I heard Form 3s were taking months at one point.

How long are they currently?

Form 3’s are pretty quick right now I think 48-72hrs...  $100-$200 sounds like you need a different dealer, with the market being slow right now all my dealers dropped to $50 plus $25 silencer shop kiosk form 4 fee.

I've been trying to find a Kraken SK for around that price, but I think I might have to settle for a regular Kraken at that price point before they're all gone as well.

When did you order, was it a Friday afternoon, if so don’t include that day or the weekend.  Also did you have your ffl send all their info immediately after the order with your name and order # in the subject title.  Because most companies take a couple of days to process normal orders and maybe a day or two more for gun/nfa type stuff because they have to have ffl and form 4 submitted and then 2-3 days for form 4 approval...

10 business days and wasn't a friday.  My Ffl/sot sent info instantly.  I think the cans were still at Lipseys so two form 3s needed and they aren't efiling.

They just sent me a blanket response when I inquired.

I have ordered a Gemtech trek 2, a yhm turbo, Sico opsrey 45k on a couple different orders and I had all mine at my dealer in less then 2 weeks as I recall.  I have heard that they don’t keep inventory so 2 form 3’s would add to the time.   Could they not have the cans drop shipped from the distributors to negate 1 form 3?

Don’t want to muck up the thread so I will add that I bought a Sig srd 556ti qd a couple weeks ago and the can was at my dealer 4 days after I ordered but from 1 state over so shipping was fast.  Also have a stamp approved as of 10/17 that was cashed 3/24.   omega 9k, still waiting on dealer to call me when stamp arrives in the mail...  Need to order a sico low pro 3 lug for my mke mp5k clone.  But gunprodeals has the best price but out of stock

Just caved and got a Delta P Brevis II Ultra... still can't believe how expensive that damn thing is but hey, it's my birthday/xmas present to myself this year.

Building an ultra lightweight AR and this was really the only option.  Should be right at about 4.5 lbs with optic/suppressor/fully loaded mag.

Bought a TBAC Ultra 9 last Wednesday from Hansohn Brothers and they went ahead and gave me the BF sale price which put over the buying threshold. Originally was holding out for the Vox but with the sale that Ultra 9 will go nice on my precision bolt guns. I'll just use either my Recce 7, SDN6, or ASR Saker 556k on my gas guns

The PSA in Greenville had an absolute shit selection for suppressors today.  50% of the case was innovative arms brand.  No dead air, no rugged and a very random smattering of other brands.  All the pistol cans were gone by 7 when I got there.  Very frustrating.  I couldn't get anyone to tell me what they had in stock in Columbia so I wasn't going to drive all the way down there and miss half a day of work just to be disappointed.  I ended up buying an Obsidian 45 at another local dealer for $600 out the door (not including stamp).
