Ordered a SilencerCo Hybrid today. Was planning on buying the Optimus, but the 45 cal capabilities sold me on the Hybrid... This combined with my pending F1 22LR suppressor should cover most of my needs.... Of course a Salvo and a Recce 5 are still on my radar... because, hey, we always want more
Since I have NFA fever with my new trust and since I purchased a Salvo 12 and Griffin Optimus at the end of last month and two SBR lowers. I figured I would pick up another.
Purchased a OSS SRM-4 from Quiet Riot Firearms for $449. I figured at that price its worth trying and it will probably be nice on my Tavor. |
Ordered a new Gemtech GMT-Halo today. Dealer said 6 week (minimum) lead time, so it will probably be late summer before I actually have it in my hands.
Tick tock..... |

Griffin Armament Alpha @ Quiet Riot
I reload polymer coated lead, and although it is not supposed to cause a problem, it will be nice to get in there and see what is going on. |

I wouldn't stand in front of a piss-filled supersoaker. Does that make it a good pistol? - Caboose314

Just ordered a Griffin M4SD-K. Already have a Spartan 3 in the pipeline too.

Osprey 45 from a local place and AEM5 in jail at ADCO.
I can play with the Osprey on the shops range but the AEM5 is still in jail because I screwed up the form. Won't be long hopefully. |

Once my Sandmans get out of jail I've got 3 MAMS to sell which will pay for most of a suppressor. On the flip side, I "need" to pick up threaded barrels for a p226 and 1911 (& maybe an FNX-45 tactical) to host my Obsidian - but I've got 5 months to worry about that. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Bought an octane 45hd from a local shop that had it in stock. Was going to buy a mask but decided I needed a pistol can over another rimfire can for now. Paperwork went into the mail last friday. Hopefully I'll have it for a birthday gift in August. Now to get a threaded barrel for my 1911

Bought a Sandman S today. My first nfa item Glad I found one locally at a good price.
Paid for and did almost all of the paperwork for my first NFA item, a YHM Phantom 556 stainless M2 suppressor. The hardest part is finding a place that still uses ink fingerprints and can print me on a Friday. I'm a truck driver, and so far, none of the small town police or sheriff's departments I've passed by or delivered nearby want to print me, even though I have my own cards and offered to pay for the service. They either are all electronic print scanning or "We don't want to get involved in something like that...", as told to me by the Evans County, Georgia sheriff's department.
"So be it, then." Jack said. "Clever stratagems are quite beyond my powers, but if it rank foolishness you require, I have no end of it"
Order an ink pad and card holder and roll them yourself, at your convenience.
If by some chance you pass through LA Natchitoches Parish Sheriff department does ink prints. Not sure where exactly you could park in walking distance of the office in the court house. Could also just do a trust and use a family member or friend as your beneficiarie and trustee. I went this route so certain friends could use my cans if they wanted to without me. Know how things are Im a driver also.

View Quote What's wrong with the electronic print scanning vs ink printing? And why is one preferred over the other? My Sheriff Dept. uses only the electronic print scanning method, and the ATF has never rejected my print cards. (many sets printed to date) The last time I had a few extra sets of cards printed for the future when I nolonger have to visit him for his autograph, which he gladly signs. |

I paid for a tax stamp and a griffin 45 can from silencer shop.
now I wait....................... |

SilncerCo Salvo12 and Omega. Started yesterday with my new trust....
Here's to a fast turnaround! |
Recce 7 and stamp from Silencer shop.
Watched Military Arms Channel testing. Recce 7 shined. Taper and thread mounts do better with poi shifts and consistency. For: 11.5" 556 pistol, 10.3" 300 BO sbr, Ruger mini 30 tact, 18" 6.5 Grendel AR. Main reason for wanting one is the 300 BO. I was going to get Gemtech 300 BLK, but then started a 6.5 Grendel build.. The BO has a 12" rail , and the recce is easy on/off for under handguard, at 1.47 diameter, which is a nice fit for my 1.6(d) Odin works. Griffin also makes a blast shield that attaches to the taper mount, for when i want to keep things short.. PLUS, they also make a minimalist break, which will be great for the Grendel. Griffin simply has a great selection of muzzle devices. |
Just put my fifth one in jail... Bought a Rugged Razor based on everyone's opinion that 5.56 is loud and short and light suppressors are what to be used on SBRs.

ordered a Sig 22 from QRF(took me a while to figure out what that is), can't beat that $200 price tag. |
Obsidian is now in jail

Capitol Armory did me so good on my Ryder 9 Ti purchase, I had to go back for more...
Dead Air Sandman-L & Surefire Ryder-22 on the way. |

Swanky boots

Just bought a Silencerco Spectre II. I don't even expect my first can to arrive until June ish. Had to go ahead on a 22 as well.
Must hold off now on a 45 can... |
Well I finally ordered my first suppressor today, Specwar K from Capitol Armory. It will be used primarily on my 10.5" SBR
Today? Down payment on a Gemtech HVT-QM for $450 adding it to the jail collection makes 3 currently in jail.
