Yes, but it doesn't mean they don't have sales presence. Remington itself doesn't participate in online marketing nearly as hard as many other companies, but they still sell more firearms than anyone but Ruger.

Maxim Silencer Company went out of the firearms muffling business decade ago.   They still make and sell several types of industrial noise abatement equipment.
