anyone using an adjustable gas block with theirs? Needed with 18" barrel?
I use one on my sbrs and 16" but have no experience with the AEM5 on a 18"/rifle length gas. Thanks |

Thank you both. That is helpful. Found one locally just have to decide on it. Not 100% sure I would do a true clone for it but trying to decide.

Mine is on a 14.5 larue stealth and it's quieter than I thought it would be. I'm building an 11.5 that it will share time on but I need Ron to make me a custom mount so I can use my fortis extended carbine fsb cutout rail. |

If anyone is looking for an AEM5 check with Tar Heel State Firearms.
Also, has anyone purchased a complete Mk12 upper from ADCO, PRI or HCS? |

Ahead of the story, I just wanted to say thanks to Ron for taking time out of his day(s) to talk at length on the phone. Much thanks to Steve from ADCO for his help as well.
If there is anyone in the thread that wants AE or Ops Inc setup pictures included in the post (that I haven't already talked with) please repost the image and I'll have it added by Monday. I'll credit you with your user name. Thanks to you all. |
