This is why I had high hopes for the R51: fixed barrel would mean a shorter suppressor could be used because of the lack of need for a booster. Or high reliability with something like the TM Poseidon. I saw it at SHOT with the TiRant 9S and thought "almost perfect size!"

So I'm thinking about having a a licensed manufacturer build a "micro" can for me in .40sw. Are there any thoughts on a good combination between diameter and length? It will need to be light enough to cycle the action (Glock 27) without a piston, but still work well enough to suppress subsonic loads.
1.5" x 5"? 1.3" x 4.5"? Longer? Shorter? Thanks. |

Anyone know of reputable builders who would be interested in making a custom microcan? I've contacted:
Curtis Tactical Stalking Rhino (no reply yet) I might try Liberty, but I have heard they pass off smaller projects to SRI. Thanks. |
