Interested to see if you can hear the difference between both cans on a 556 rifle.
Also interested in 300 blk performance. Mount em up and let us know. |

How does the Saker 762 compare to the AAC 762-SD in terms of performance?

I just got approved for my saker 762 and specter 2 today. I'm going to drive down to silencer shop in the morning then drive 3 hours back home to put them through their paces. I'll try and put up something about it soon. I really am curious to see what everyone else thinks of them.

How does the Saker 762 compare to the AAC 762-SD in terms of performance? View Quote Do you mean 762-SD or SDN6? The Saker fits in between the two sound-wise. To the OP, use a torch to lightly heat the screws and use some penetrating oil. There's probably some loctite in there and it just needs some heat before unscrewing. |

Finally got my Saker 762 in the mail today from Silencer Shop! It has taken over year since I started to get my QD 30 cal can. I initially bought a SDN6 in Aug 2013, but I wished there was a 30 cal version of the Saker 556 that I bought at the same time. Then they announced the Saker 762 in January, but I figured the SDN6 would be approved before the 762 would be available. When it was available at SS in April I cancelled the SDN6 and bought the Saker and started the wait all over. I think it was worth the wait since I was able to get rid of the 51T mount and go with the Trifecta mount. I can't wait to try it on my 300 blk, but I gotta figure out how to get the hand guard off so I can install the flash hider, the screws are stuck and I cant get them off without stripping them. Size comparison to the 556 http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1424/13602099/24570561/410250976.jpg View Quote I know you have been waiting to brother enjoy! |

Just got my Saker 762 as well
And with sub gemtech ammo it's super quiet. (My bad lol, my wife corrects me all the time) I've shot a blackout with a yhm and saker is quieter Waiting on 556 endcap to compare 223 round Also Saker with superspnic ammo is still very tolerable, no loud pop as on other weapons edit for spelling |

Super quite what?
QUIET. <- most misspelled word on the suppressor forum. I will not be quiet when I get MY Saker 7.62. I will do quite a happy dance! Congrats. Hoping to get mine soon; July 30 pending. |

My paperwork got lost and I lost 3 months. SS had to re-file in June.
I'd have mine as well. If you live near Garland, I have an 8" blk upper with the mount already installed. |

Are you saying the SDN-6 is quieter than the Saker762? No, the 762-SD is the quietest in this group. It's also super long and heavy, so it should be. The N6 is disappointingly loud in my opinion. The Saker strikes a good balance. |

Figured I would give this a bump since I was able to get my 300 blk sbr sorted out and got the flash hider installed last night. For anyone interested I had to drill the stuck screws out, I was able to save barrel nut which was nice.
Anyways, I got to shoot a couple rounds through it tonight and WOW! It sounds awesome through the Saker 762, so quiet. It is considerably quieter than my Octane 45 on the same gun. I'm very happy with it, well worth the wait to hear that sound, or lack thereof. |

View Quote Thanks for the bump. I'm still waiting for my form 3 to clear since August 18th. I'm hoping it's quieter then my SOCOM762-RC. The SOCOM sounds great on 308 and other supers, but it's pretty loud firing subsonic rounds through my 9" SBR or 16" handi rifle. |

Mine came in they Mail two days ago but I cannot get it until this weekend. I also have an N6 and can't wait to compare them on sound but also to see if the tighter mount affects group size.

Still waiting on stamp for 3rd can which was approved 11/28 (Black Friday) before I make the 150 mile round trip to get all three. I do have the 5.56 end cap and the Y-Mount sitting here waiting. |
