Is it worth the extra $$$ to get the Ti over the SS model?

Can will be used on a couple bolt guns, possibly a FAL and AR15's.

Is the Ti more durable than SS, or is it just a weight savings that I'd be paying for?

I'm waiting for the paperwork on my first suppressor to come back(YHM Mite that I got a heck of a deal on), and want to get the ball rolling on my next can asap.

I went Titanium and am glad I did
I don't know about longevity, but the weight savings alone sold me on the Ti

I was going to buy the SS, but then after I held both cans and screwed them both on a friends SBR I knew I wanted the TI, the lightness is unbelievable

If you get a chance to fondle them both at the same time you will know what I mean

Titanium is a superior material in all categories and conditions that a suppressor should be concerned in.

I would've gone with the SS if the Ti hadn't ever existed.

What's your opinion of the YHM 762 Ti?

I've seen some of your other posts and I think I gather that you like it, partly due to the fact that it's so light.

Can you expand on it more? How tough or "durable" is it? Have you given it sustained fire in short times? etc.

I'm going to be pulling the trigger on a can in the next couple months and I'm on the fence between the 762 TI and the AAC 762 N6 as it is currently.

Ok, it looks like its pretty much unanimous for the Titanium.

Now, what's a good price for one?

are you bench shooting? or carrying it in the woods for miles? If weight isn't a big deal, the steel will be fine. Me, my first can was steel and now after hiking up some mountains, the next will be titanium.

I have been in the same debate for a while now. I think I have decided to go with the 7.62 Ti for weight savings and I will be using this on an M1A and M4. The M1A is heavy already I dont need to make it worse. I have been talking to Dave @ Silencershop.com he as a good price on the Ti, but has not had any instock in a while.

Seeing that it's nearly 1 pound lighter I'd say it's well worth the extra $250. Especially if it's going to be used on an AR.

My only gripe with the Ti is the color. I know it's knit picking, but I just don't like the look of the silver/grey. YMMV.

So far $890 is the best I've found for one that's in stock. I was going to get the SS for $295 less but decided that spending the additional $ now was the better way to go, especially when it's not compounded by an additional wait for the product to be delivered to the dealer.

Silencer shop sells them for $849.

I don't think they have any in stock now, might be awhile before they have more, but if you can't wait then pick up the one that's in stock where you're at.

Yes I do like my 762 Ti

Given how durable each suppressor feels, I don't think longevity with either the Ti or SS will be something to worry about.

I am a not extraordinarily happy with the color of it, but that's only when shooting it with my camera. I forget about everything not related to shooting when it is mounted on any of my uppers.

I have gotten to can very hot with sustained fire and it didn't disappoint at all. I do feel the SDN6 has an edge over the YHM and that is for automatic fire. YHM states 60rds before letting the suppressor cool down. I don't know that the N6 has a limit...

If choosing between the two I'd consider the N6 first if I were attaching it to a FA weapon. The AAC mounts are significantly more expensive than YHMs and outfitting multiple weapons means more $$$.

IMHO, the AAC mounts do look better, but while the can is installed are you going to focus on your other guns' bare suppressor mounts? I'm not.

I think the choice is still a tossup, but you know how I'd vote.

Hope this helps

I've found them in stock on GB for $800...I'd hold out for a deal.

I waited when buying my Sparrow, and got it for $349 shipped, and this was in April/May.

But hey, I just figure if I'm gonna wait 6 months, whats another month for a F3...especially when saving a decent amount.

Im also Jewish.

I tried to convince my dad to go with Ti for his 300 blackout SBR. He is 70 and is really going to hate all that extra weight on the end of his rifle.

SS here. Cheap bastard Not digging the sparks either. I had the opportunity to mount a Ti but declined. I'll be good as long as I don't know what I'm missing Feels fine on the end of a 10.5" AK

I have my SN and Form 4 in process. Do a search for an Oklahoma C3 on Major-Malfunction for Brady's Extreme Toys in Wilburton, OK. I don't know if he has any more but that's where I got mine.
