He's not a magician.

So it was a myth. I thought they had released some models back in jan? There's tons of threads and YouTube videos of private owners showing off their sr7 and saker from silencerco. Yup looks like it will be December then!

Yeah, it looks like the SR5/SR7 is not going to happen this year. We'll see what happens with it next year.

Maybe it will be re-launched at SHOT again...

I guess they don't want money. What about silencerco saker? That's suppose to be the best of the best for 556

No, they don't want to release a defective product that will cause massive CS headaches.

The saker is still in development too. Until it is in end users hands I would not bother ranking it as we have no idea what its real pros and cons are. It could turn out to suck.

Bump for great company.

I recently bought my first NFA item, found a AAC 772 SDN-6 in stock and had it transferred to Silencer Shop. I was so confused about the whole process with all the forms and what I needed to do. They made it so extremely easy. I will always use Silencer Shop for purchases in the future.

I've only ordered pistons from him, but they come next day. +1 for Dave and SS.

Also after i had purchased the can but before it shipped to my dealer i asked to change the piston from 1/2x28 to 13.5 so i could use a factory Sig P226 barrel. They swapped it around no problem, no hassle. My only slight "complaint" was that about 30 days after i purchased my Octane 9 the price i paid dropped about $35 to a new even lower price. I thought about emailing them to see if they would give me store credit or something for the difference. I would gladly have spent it plus a lot more with them. Their prices are very good. But honestly the price i paid was more than fair and i felt a little petty trying to hit them up for $35. I would imagine they dropped the price because their dealer price went down, so it is not really anything they did at all. Sure i would love $35 of suppressor goodie credit, but i am more than satisfied with my experience with them. I would highly recommend them.

Yes i am quoting my own post. Because BTT for a great company does not cut it this time. When I posted my original post I was honestly OK with the price i paid. It was significantly better than anywhere else. The CS was TOP NOTCH with email answered right away and the piston swap with no questions. I was more than satisfied which is why i never really aired about the $35. It was more of a fleeting thought if that makes sense.

So after i posted my above comment i was contacted by Silence Shop and offered a refund of the price difference. When was the last time a business contacted you to give you a refund? I actually feel a little guilty about taking them up on it. I figured the least i could do is use it as a credit for some merchandise. I ordered a .5x28 fixed barrel adapted for the Octane 9. In-stock and shipped that day, delivered in a few days with a $35 discount applied! My next can with come from Silencer Shop with out a doubt!

PS with the order of my they sent me a really nice free Silencer Shop cap. It does not fit me but i would like to know someone is wearing it. So if you have ordered from them but didn't get a hat and want one send me PM. I will ship it out to you. The only rule is when you get the hat post a picture of it with the product you got from them. This is my way of trying to help spread their name a little.
