Glass isn’t as good on the Sig and has a small amount of blue hue, although this new one is better than older models from what I’ve read. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad at all, but it’s still there just a tiny bit. Buttons are kinda meh as well and I don’t like the placement, nor the NV button. My initial impressions were confirmed by a few testers as the NV button is easy to inadvertently hit, which kills the dot until it’s pressed again. Reticle choices are nice and the amount/quality of accessories it comes with far surpasses the Aimpoint (front and rear see-through flip covers, front solid flip cover, ARD, mount and spacer), but the Aimpoint still wins the quality and “seat of the pants” robustness categories, IMO. I’d say the Sig is 80-85% of the T2. This is obviously not factoring long term durability. Up to you if the cost savings is worth it. |

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

View Quote @50cal I'm still playing with it. Currently running a Shooting Sight drilled spindle, the SiCo Omega 300, and Delta P mount with a single chamber SiCo brake. I also have the VLTOR rail on there now with a TA11, so that bridge to the clip slot deflects some and the longer eye relief helps. I've been using M80 ball, and I want to try some lighter stuff too. It's still gassy, which may just be a fact of life with my can design. It isn't horrible, but it does still have some gas coming back. |
