You'll have to excuse my crappy camera. 22LR K Baffle can. 1st baffle and muzzle threads are 303 stainless, everything else is 6061 aluminum. 7 baffles, 6" long, 1.125" OD. With my 6.5" CMMG you pretty much just hear the action cycling. I tried it on a friends Sig Mosquito today and it's even quieter.

Now, you gotta figure out a way to suppress the bolt.

That little shit is quiet.

I used a T3 action to eliminate action noise.

This started life as a Steven 200 243 I got from Morgan at DSS. I had a custom 458 Socom stainless barrel made, then shortened it to 12" and ported it slightly. I made a new barrel nut that is also the tube mount. the barrel nut is pinned and welded to the barrel and the suppressor tube is welded to the nut so it's a one stamp gun. The baffles come out so the ports can be cleaned. the biggest pain was getting the stock cut enough to fit the tube and getting the internal magazine to feed the socom. I had to add a delrin spacer in the mag and re-form the feed lips but now it feeds perfect.
I'm a hobbiest not a machinest so I;m pretty happy with how it has come out so far.

I bought a Mossberg MVP a few months ago, along with a Harbor Frieght 7x10 mini lathe and an approved Form 1 I was able to make a slight upgrade.
This is the first Integral suppressed MVP out there as far I as can tell.

First part was taking the barrel from 24" to 16" and 1/2-28 (barrel cut down by Atwell because it doesn't fit in my mini lathe); also made a custom barrel nut on my lathe that is the rear mount of the suppressor

With suppresor the overall barrel length is 22" so it's 2" shorter than the factory rifle

Eveything is 4130 chrom moly, baffles are 60 degree stepped cones

It s done!
It came out to 4.2 lbs :D
I chucked up the barrel in the lathe and dialed it in off the bore then put the can on, gave it a spin just to see
if the end cap bore hole turns concentric with the barrel and it all looks good.
This is the second can made with the same style of baffles, the first one sounded so good I had to make another
for the 375
The 375 H&H and soon this can will double duty on the Cheytac

Finally got my .30 cal can done. (Even though I dont have a 7.62 rifle) It is 304 Seamless tubing, 316L end caps, and 716 Inconel baffles. Fully welded and uses the YHM QD Mount system. I put a few 5.56 rounds through it today and to my uncalibrated ear it sounds about like an unsupressed .22 doesnt ring my ears, though I will still use Ear Pro with it. I know a guy with an SDN-6 that i am looking forward to comparing it to.

My first F1 attempt.
Used ER Shaw bull barrel, cut down to 16 1/8", bored the rifling out to .260, and added a couple o-ring grooves.

Threaded to some bastard .875 fine thread, 28tpi IIRC.

Piece of heavier than needed SS outer tube, it's what I had in the stock pile.

Cross drilled the barrel 9 times with a .625 endmill.

Finished product. I made the stock also

What I would have done differently....... Thin out the outer tube a bit, drill the holes a bit closer together and maybe get a couple more chambers into it.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

ETA, that isn't me shooting it.

FWIW, the last click you hear is the firing pin on an empty chamber.

How did you bore out the rifling?

Long drill bit in the lathe with lots of oil. It's drilled back around 6" or so, I forget the exact number.

Did you machine the rear cap? If so, how?

Yes, I made it. First I turned it in a lathe and cut the internal ACME threads. I used a YHM mount as a plug gage. Then I put the cap in an indexing 3 jaw chuck in my mill and used a 45* endmill to cut the serrations on the back.

Thanks. I guess now I need to learn how to make Acme threads.

Internal ACME threads are a pain in the ass, especially in 316 but they are doable, I used a carbide 8tpi insert. Also remember to set your compound at 14.5* instead of 29.5* like on UN threads.
