Here is my newest suppressor host. I have always loved me some Bond. Of course it is a .22 but I don't care for Martinis either.

Looks pretty familiar. I, too, am a huge 007 nut.

Hey Bushy and crzapy, how is the Walther .22 as a host? You've got me curious as I'm a big Bond fan and in need of another .22 host for a pending SpectreII.

Good info. Thank you sir!

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm smitten. Got it from Atlantic right before they sold out. The gun looks and feels perfect, I've wanted an MP5K my whole life and I think the MKE guns are the best way to go. I probably won't really shoot it until the Form 1 clears and I can put a stock on it.

Congrats! I'm jealous. You mention they sold out, will there be more?

Big day today.. Two form 4s for a SilencerCo Octane 9mm and 45 plus an e-file form 1 for my Definitive Arms AKX-9 SBR.

Form 4s were sent in right around the first week of May making it just about 4 months exactly.

I posted this in the discussion section a couple weeks ago, and now here:

ETA; Host is 1950 (Gen 2) Colt Woodsman, 4 1/2" bbl.  Suppressor is YHM "Woodsman", .22.  Muzzle adapter was made-to-order from an online vendor. The adapter covers some down to the bare metal bluing wear on both sides of the barrel at the muzzle.  I bought the host with this project in mind.  Internally, the gun is just fine.  No issues with barrel bore/suppressor bore concentricity or alignment.  As was noted in reviews when this no longer produced suppressor first came out, a bit louder than would be expected (or hoped for?) for the volume.  Still pretty quiet.  Another downside is that the suppressor does not come apart, but with limited shooting of only subsonic ammo, leading should be minimal, if at all.  A bit longer than a modern, threaded barrel host, and a  symmetric shell suppressor would be for the same performance, but an old-school look that I was after.

CZ P-09 wearing my first ever suppressor (and first ever NFA item), a Liberty Mystic X.

I also got the plain 1/2x28 adapter so I can also use it on .22 guns, and even 5.56 as long as I use a 16" or longer barrel and don't rapid fire. I like the can. It works well. I've only shot a few magazines through it so far, but I dig it.

CZ

You can get the P-09 with a factory threaded barrel. It's only about $20 more than the non-threaded.

And yeah, the Mystic X is pretty big I guess. It's kinda heavy... but I can shoot ANY pistol caliber (9mm or smaller) with it, use it on pistol caliber carbines, and even on 5.56x45 rifles with at least 16"  barrels (slow fire only). I plan to use it on a .22 rifle, probably a .22 pistol, my CZ and eventually I'll get a 9mm pistol caliber carbine.

Contract overrun from a collaboration between Thompson Machine and Diamondback firearms
I picked it up for $189 in Nov 2014.

It's not expected to function on tilt barrel designs since there's no neilson device (booster). We'll see if it functions on the Beretta. It could be used on a SMG or a fixed barrel like the CZ83. I don't have that threaded yet.

It will also go nicely on my Nagant 1895 which is getting threaded now

I don't know anything about the Poseidon but I hear they're VERY similar. There's a 5 page thread on ST - not raving reviews but it may be worth a read
ETA: it sounds like there were some false expectations up front about this can but I go in at a point where I knew what I was getting - not for your first can and not designed for tilt barrel.
