Wow, it seems like everyone read this article at the same time and decided to post about it.

This thing is just as far-fetched as when I first heard about it a couple of years ago.  They'll never make me carry one!

Will there be a Civilain version avaible for use and can we use them in service rifle matches. that 20 mm would be good at 600 yards.

The only "revolutionary" thing about this gun is the smart muntions, the 20 mm rounds.  The usual defense industry hype.

Guns that shoot around corners have been around at least since WWII.  See for example the German "Maschinenpistole 44 mit Krummlauf".

It IS funky looking, I'll give them that.

the author of the article mentions the improvments in power and range of this new rifle using 5.56 ammo. Now thats one special rifle. What was it he said "Of course, the OICW's shooting-bullets method of taking down enemies is nothing to sneeze at. It has "basically the same architecture" as the M16 assault rifle, making it "five times as effective at twice the range," Hopkins said."
