I just traded an UZI Mdl. B 9mm carbine with one mag and case(that I bought at a gunshow last year for $200) for a 98% Colt SP1 AR-15 with 2 20rd and 2 30rd mags. Even trade, no cash involved, no tax, no paperwork

I'll give you 500 for it.

Last yr when you bought the UZI for $200 is when you got the good deal. Today you just swapped one gun for another of equal value

Personally I would have jumped all over the trade myself as well.

However I am not that familiar with UZIs (and not to question YNGSAR) but can you tell me why you feel that the Uzi was "the deal"?

That's nothing!
I bought three calico 100 round drums in perfect condition for 30 a peice at a garge sale a few weeks ago. The lady found them in a box of her ex husbands stuff.

Authentic UZI or POS Chinese copy?

He said UZI. I assumed he meant IMI or Group Industries UZI as Norinco UZI clones need not apply.

Well he paid a few hundred for an UZI carbine which at the time would have sold for $1100 so he got a good deal.

Then later he traded an UZI carbine worth 11-1200 for a rifle worth 900-1100 so there was nothing there but an even swap.

The only time there is a fair trade in a gun deal is when both parties are convinced they got screwed.  If anybody thinks they got a good deal then someone got screwed.
