Looks like a cheap Pakistani or India copy of an AK (although given recent thread I don't know, AKM?) in small caliber. Weird rear sight ears.

Just my guess,
Mike

I think this is the current production Indian rifle made at Ishapore. It is based on the AK47 and fires 5.56mm NATO. That's all I know.....

Looks like a short barreled FAL with T-48 furniture.  Can't see much of the back end of the rifle so it certainly could be something else.

Are you guys sure that's not a FNC with wood furniture?  It sure looks like one to me.

It's an Indian INSAS 5.56 rifle . India's copy of the Galil made at Ishapore. Uses a Clear Plastic magazine. It's just starting to show up in Indian units after being developed 5 or so years ago.

It has the same Muzzle device as an FNC, but it does resemble a Valmet in many ways.

FAL? FNC? Not even close! Look at the receiver.

Colt-653 and Noname got it right.

Judging the first post pic. It looks like the India's new battle rifle the INAS. It combines the FAL, HK, and AK designs into one rifle.
