[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ballistics on an .30 M1 Carbine?

Does anyone have any information or can point me to any websites that contain ballistics information on the .30 M1 Carbine round? Penetration, flight profile, etc.?

Mike - interesting info on the ballistics software. Does that software have in it the .30 M1 Carbine data already in it, or do you have to capture it yourself? The Fulton Armoury Site did have one nugget of info: the muzzle velocity is 1970 FPS with 30 cal 110 gr FMJ ball ammo. Still looking for penetration values too. Thanks!

For commercial ballistics info you can always go to www.winchester.com or other manufacturers to view ballistics. Here is the .30 Carbine info -

Federal shows a 110 grain load at 1990 muzzle. I don't know about penetration though.
