What are the main differences in these uppers? Twist, sights, length. Or did I just answer my questions. pg

I've never heard of an A4. A2 had the fixed carry handle, A3 is a flattop that can accept a removable carry handle.

The M16A2 has the carry handle and has semi/burst selector, the M16A3 has a carry handle and has semi/auto selector, and the M16A4 is the same as M16A2 except it has a flattop. Some manufacturers of civilian rifles call their flattop A3, some call it A4, which is more in line with the military designation.
