Looking to step up from .22lr model 8334 to .17HMR for suppressed varmint hunting.

Is the +$30 worth it to go stainless in the model 8353? Either choice will be painted some type of camo.

8336 is blued cold hammer forged v 416 stainless cold hammer forged in the 8353 model

I always think so- big stainless fan. I just picked up a stainless American Rimfire in 22 yesterday. Accurate, fun, and good looking. Ultimately, it probably comes down to preference. I prefer the stainless.
