I was wondering if there was a name of the style of stock that many German bolt action rifles in the 1920-30s seemed to have.

Svelte forearms and raised panels.

Sometimes they are checkered and sometimes plain. Sometimes they have finger grooves, sometimes they have a schnabel forend.

The style of number 8 in that photo is very specifically what I am looking for.

Thanks for the help.

I think they are most commonly referred to as a "humpback" stock.
