Yeah, and look at the second hand on your watch and see 6.5 seconds of bullet flight tick off!

375 Lethal Magnum.  400gr bullet at 3200fps.  32-38" barrel.

The case makes a 338 Lapua look small.

" At 3613 yards we had to adjust about 1.5 MOA/56? of Coriolis (up), and 5 MOA/~190? of right spin drift adjustment. You’d have to come down if facing East. The planet rotates counter-clockwise (from above), so your target would be falling away from you."
Fuuuuuck........

Did I make it before someone says it's easy with the right setup?

Damn impressive what some of these guys can do. I love how we have used technology to really push the limit and blow away all the old expectations and records.

That's awesome. I'm sure somebody somewhere is demanding a 5 shot group instead of a 3 though.

I consider myself a good shot but I know there is no freaking way I could pull that off.   Not even using the same equipment.
That guy has his crap in one container.

Of course, equipment, knowhow, and a calm day.

Reading the wind over that distance would be a HUGE limit.  Swirling and buffeting from just the slightest breeze and your shot would go wild.  I would suspect they shot at or near daybreak to beat the afternoon winds.  They also are shooting over an open valley to ensure the bullet flight is in clean air away from the treetops and other obstructions that can stir the wind from a settled path.

That is one hell of a shot.

How much energy does that beast of a round still have at 2.05 miles though?

Edit: Still moving around 900fps at impact. Like shooting someone with a .45acp from 2 miles away lol

Not sure what the fire danger is there, but I wonder if they consider putting guys at 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5 miles to launch bottle rockets at the same time to see what the smoke does.

Still better than a 9mm at 2 miles.

When you are shooting at something so far away that you need to factor and adjust for the planet's rotation.....and you hit it 3 times.....
You can shoot.

That's fucking amazing.

Talk about tough to hit a human at that range.

The average walking speed of a human is 4.11fps and TOF for the bullet is stated at around 6.5 seconds.  You would need to lead a walking skinny by 26.715 feet to tap him.

Better stated, shoot the fucker when he is passed out high on smack from his field because hitting him will on a the move would be damn near impossible.
