no way in hell

heavy for what it does, some can be  mag picky. Get a AK

saying that they are really fun for what they are.

I was actually thinking about SBRing a PTR 32K PDW R GEN 2nd calling it good, I believe the rest of my family could handle it too.

Mine's 100% reliable with Magpul & Tapco mags. Uber accurate too.

But finicky with steel surplus mags, and doesn't like surplus brass cased Yugo M67 ammo. Good with all steel cased ammo.

For SHTF duty I'd rather have something smaller & easier to carry, like my Draco pistol, or WASR AK, or VZ2008, or my 7.62x39 AR pistol.

As a pistol or sbr a PTR 32 would do just fine. But an AK pistol with a brace is half the cost.

The HK roller locker system is pretty awesome and makes 7.62x39 recoil almost non-exisistant.

It's a fine rifle as long as you treat it as one with dedicated mags.  Don't count on using any old AK mag.

Mine would short stroke with Tula ammo.  Wolf has been 100 percent so far.

I ended up selling mine but I did like it.  It can be mag picky as other have said.  I would use an AK instead.  The recoil is super light which is nice.  It's a great bench/range gun

The box of Truth did a nice review of it.

It's more advanced than an AK.  You can upgrade from a 1940's design to a 1950's design.
