Yes, the SAR 21 Tavor the trigger pull is atrocious. Like an old milsurp Russian/Soviet Nagant revolver almost. Your finger will get  tired before the first mag is up. About $300-400 from Giselle will fix that. And there's some cheaper options like using an X95 trigger pack or like the OP is interested in, getting an X95 in the first place.

The one big advantage the Tavor has over an AUG is that the Tavor still has a traditional forend to put your supporting hand on. With the Aug, it's pretty much the VFG or nothing unless you're willing to pay for some sort of aftermarket forend. The other is that the TAVOR takes AR15/M16/STANAG magazines out of the box. There are AUG variants that take them too, or you're looking at getting the NATO/STANAG rear buttstock/shell part to accept the more common magazines. However, a bit of shopping or some advice from the bullpup sub-forum here, you can be directed to some AUG mags that aren't too bad in price when a sale comes up.

Either are great, out of the box, the Aug is definitely more svelte and a bit more refined, but depending on what you want to do with them, one or the other might fit your needs/wants better.

I will say that the Tavor with the Geissele trigger pack will blow most any other bullpup factory trigger away, except maybe the Keltec RFB, but comparing the Tavor to their .308... that's apples to oranges otherwise I guess. And it will beat most all factory AR triggers too.
